Tascosa Hot Sauce

Tascosa Hot Sauce proudly produces an Original, Extra Hot, and Mild sauce, handmade daily and has no preservatives. The original flavor was developed in a small tortilla factory during the 1950's in Amarillo, Texas. The Extra Hot and Mild products were added mid 90's when business transitioned solely to a hot sauce company. In 2009, Tascosa Hot Sauce moved its operations to the WT Enterprise Center for further growth opportunity. 

Tascosa Hot Sauce was awarded $75,000 in the Amarillo EnterPrize Challenge and will purchase equipment to facilitate the operation and automate a portion of it’s production. The company currently employs 4 part-time production employees, 1 part-time office assistant and one full-time employee. Increased sales and growth will cause production to multiply and will result in giving existing employee’s full time hours as well as add 2-5 more full time positions within the next 2 to 3 years.

The Amarillo EDC assisted Tascosa Hot Sauce with a $75,000 grant in the 2010 EnterPrize Challenge.
