Cherished Texas Studios

Cherish Texas Studios began with a little yellow rose, and a big dream… Back in 1999 owner Cindy Sheets  opened a freeze-dry floral business in Canyon, Texas ~ which specialized in the unique process of drying flowers with a commercial freeze-dryer (Cherished Petals, Inc.) Cherish Texas Studios was awarded a $50,000 Enterprize Challenge grant in 2003. In 2004 they expanded their business with a wholesale line of Texas Gifts in the local state parks and souvenir business with a like of photography and postcards. Since winning the Challenge, the Amarillo EDC has partnered with them in paying the interest on a further expansion.
