Doug Nelson - Vice President, Financial Services

Doug is the Vice President of Financial Services at Amarillo Economic Development Corporation. In this capacity, he has responsibility for the administration of the Texas Panhandle Regional Development Corporation.  TPRDC programs include the SBA 504 loan program and the City of Amarillo Community Development Micro Loan program. Prior to joining AEDC, Doug spent the last 20 years at Panhandle Regional Planning Commission. Doug has experience in small business lending, government contracting, and economic development grant writing and project administration. 
 
Doug earned his bachelor’s degree, a B.B.A. in Management, from Texas A & M University.
