Lindsay Manufacturing to Break Ground on New Facility

Lindsay Manufacturing will break ground on a warehouse and distribution center on Tuesday, October 9 at 8:30 a.m. The event will take place at the construction site in the CenterPort Business Park north of Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport (Highway 60 at Folsom Road).

The Lindsay operation will occupy almost half of the newly constructed 50,000 square-foot building, which is scheduled for completion in March of 2013. 

“This expanded and enhanced facility will help Lindsay maintain its superior customer service mission and grow its volume in this region,” according to Amarillo EDC’s Buzz David. “We’re pleased that our investment in CenterPort Business Park is attracting tenants like Lindsay,” David adds.

 
Officials from Lindsay who will participate include Randy Wood, Vice President of Sales; Rick Provaznik, Director of Aftermarket; Clint Babcock, Texas Distribution Center Manager and Farris Hightower, South Central United States Regional Manager. Representatives of Amarillo Economic Development Corporation, City of Amarillo and PRANA Development Group will also attend.
