Courtesy Sign Company

Courtesy Sign Company was a long-time local sign manufacturing facility. Best Signs, a national wholesale sign manufacturing company headquartered in Colorado, purchased Courtesy Sign Company to begin manufacturing signs to the national safety, industrial and traffic market, and to use Best’s dealer network to do so.  Under the previous owner, Courtesy Sign Company had six employees.  New management plans to create up to twenty new jobs, add new equipment and refurbish a large warehouse/operations facility to accommodate expanded operations.
The Amarillo EDC extended job creation incentive grants in the amount of $10K/job for up to twenty new primary jobs in Amarillo over a four year period.  Each job would be required to remain on the payroll in Amarillo for a minimum of forty-eight months, and  jobs claiming grant funds will be required to average $30K subject to penalty.
