Nutri-Chem, Inc.

Nutri-Chem is a family owned business based in Amarillo, Texas. It was started in 1982 and currently services customers in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington, Wyoming, Canada and Mexico. Nutri-Chem manufactures surfactants or Grain Conditioners for breaking the surface tension of water, allowing more even distribution and better depth of moisture penetration. They also sell and manufacture moisture control systems, and moisture sensors.
In 1997, owner Kathy Casey-Meyers received a $50k grant from the Amarillo Enterprize Challenge. The grant was awarded to her for the agricultural feed product company Nutri-Bond, which she later merged with another she owned, Nutri-Chem after buying out both partners. The money was used to expand the company.
