Tech Spray, Inc. has operated in Amarillo since 1968 and under its present ownership since 1974. The company is a formulator, manufacturer and marketer of branded specialty cleaning, repair, and maintenance, and production support products for industrial and consumer markets worldwide. It offers a broad product line of over 2,000 high-quality, high-performance products used for protection, repair, cleaning, coating, anti-static protection and lubrication during production and quality control processes as well as in-field and in-house service, maintenance and repair operations. Tech Spray sells to end users that include blue chip companies such as Wal-Mart, IBM, NASA, Boeing, Office Depot, Target and AT&T, to name a few.
The Amarillo EDC assisted Tech Spray, Inc. with four separate expansion loans. An investment in sales tax generated revenue is estimated at $1.8 million. They have quadrupled their employment since 1990, when their first expansion loan was issued. Tech Spray is a valued asset to Amarillo by creating highly paid and highly skilled jobs with an excellent job creation performance.
