Steve Pritchett, CED Vice President

Steve Pritchett joined the Amarillo EDC in December 1994 as an economic development associate and has served as Vice President since 2002.   He has successfully completed projects with client companies such as Nationwide Insurance, Atmos Energy Corp. and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas.  While primarily engaged in business attraction activities, he is also involved in planning and developing Amarillo CenterPort, a 340 acre, rail-served industrial park that is owned by the AmarilloEDC.

Steve is a graduate of West Texas A&M University, majoring in mass communications.  Prior to joining the Amarillo EDC he spent fifteen years in broadcast journalism, including six years as News Director at KVII-TV in Amarillo.

He is a graduate of the Economic Development Institute and is a member of the Industrial Asset Management Council (IAMC), CoreNet Global, and the International Economic Development Council, and The High Ground of Texas.  Steve also serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas Economic Development Council.
