Nicole Havrilla brings more than 10 years of marketing and communication experience to the Amarillo EDC. She has worked with non-profits, large corporations and owned her own business. Nicole is known for her creativity and her ability to develop projects into well structured initiatives. As Marketing and Communications Manager, Nicole is responsible for the foundational marketing activity of the Amarillo EDC. She is tasked on a daily bases to guide the organization with a flow of creative ideas focused on the mission of the Amarillo EDC.
Before joining the Amarillo EDC in May of 2006, Nicole worked as a business consultant for the West Texas A&M Small Business Development Center. In this role, she guided small businesses in marketing as they established or expanded their enterprise. Prior to relocating to Amarillo, Nicole worked as Marketing & Graphic Design Director for the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas. At the YMCA, Nicole used her talents to strategically market the mission-driven organization through print, web and news media.
Nicole is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a BA in marketing and is currently pursuing her MBA at Texas Tech University Rawls College of Business. She is an active member of the International Association of Business Communicators.
