The Amarillo EDC maintains relationships with organizations that support our mission.
City of Amarillo: The Amarillo EDC works extensively with the employees of the City through the City Manager’s office, Planning & Zoning, Engineering, Public Works, Code Enforcement, Airport and Traffic Engineering.
Chamber of Commerce: The Amarillo EDC supports the Chamber not only monetarily but by active participation in events and activities.
West Texas A&M University Enterprise Network: The Amarillo EDC works very closely with the Enterprise Network, in its role as the Business Incubator for Amarillo.
High Ground of Texas: The High Ground of Texas is an economic development marketing coalition consisting of a 60-county region in the Panhandle and South Plains of Texas. Take a look at their 20th Anniversary video to learn more.
Ports-to-Plains Trade Corridor: Ports-to-Plains Trade Corridor is a planned four-lane divided highway that will facilitate the efficient transportation of goods and people from Mexico through West Texas to Denver, CO.
Governor of Texas, Economic Development and Tourism: The Amarillo EDC will aggressively respond to opportunity generated by the state to attract businesses with high wages and highly skilled positions to Amarillo.
Team Texas: Team Texas is a committee of the TEDC comprised of representatives from 55 communities across the state, who work cooperatively to market Texas as a business location.
