ST. ANDREW’S EPISCOPAL SCHOOL

St. Andrew’s Episcopal School is Amarillo’s only independent, 3-year-old to 8th-grade school with a mission to nurture each student in the Episcopal tradition of providing exceptional educational opportunities within an inclusive, Christian environment. Serving approximately 280 students, they welcome families from any faith tradition.

Because of the intentional small size, they respond to meet the needs of individual students in a manner that allows them to achieve more than they would anywhere else. St. Andrew’s empowers students to strive together as academics, artists, athletes, believers and doers. In doing so, graduates enter area high-schools as authentic, resilient and confident adventurers and servants to others.

The two-year AP Capstone Program uses an interdisciplinary approach to develop the critical thinking, research, collaboration, time management, and presentation skills students need for college-level work.

In addition to challenging academics, Ascension provides opportunities for all students to participate and grow in the arts, athletics, campus clubs, and student leadership to maximize their potential throughout their student experience. Ascension’s robust college guidance program assists students to determine the best college fit, working with each student and family beginning in middle school and continuing through high school.
