Texas Tech University Engineering Masters Degree Program

In 2002, Texas Tech University established a Graduate Engineering program in Amarillo in order to enhance access to higher-education opportunities in the Panhandle region, promote professional development opportunities and benefit the area’s industrial base.  The academic offerings include course work leading to the M.S. in Systems and Engineering Management and the M.S. in Software Engineering.  Since 2002, to assist with the establishment of the program, the Amarillo EDC has  provided up to $416,000 in grant funding to offset facility lease expense and the purchase of furnishings and equipment.
