Doug joined the Amarillo EDC in January 2011. He is responsible for the administration of the Texas Panhandle Regional Development Corporation and the City of Amarillo Community Development Micro Loan Program along with supporting the Amarillo EDC program of work in the business development, recruitment, project management, real estate development and business retention and expansion efforts. Prior to his current role, Doug has 20+ years of experience with the Panhandle Regional Planning Commission (PRPC) in various economic development positions and gained experience in small business lending, government contracting, grant writing and project administration. Doug received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Texas A&M University. He is married to Kristin, a father of two and is involved in various community, church, and non-profit activities.
