Helen began a career in the Insurance Industry about 20 years ago and found this as a way to help individuals and businesses with navigating the challenges by focusing on education and providing solutions that fit personal needs. She expanded her portfolio of services by adding financial services and medicare solutions.
Helen serves on the Leadership Team for John C. Maxwell and is a certified, Coach, Speaker and Trainer. She has traveled with the John Maxwell Team internationally for Global Leadership Transformation.
She currently serves on the Amarillo Area Foundation Executive Board, Treasurer for Andrea’s Project, TIRZ II East Gateway Board, Advisory Board for the Amarillo Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Past boards and committees include the President of The Bridge, Amarillo Hispanic Chamber Executive Board, Amarillo Museum of Art Board, NAIFA and NAHU Board of Directors, Chairman for Leadership Amarillo and Canyon. Helen has been involved in Rotary, BNI, Soroptimist International, and Amarillo Women’s Network.
Helen is very active in the community where she has received countless awards for her volunteer and service work including the Hispanic Woman of the Year award in 2019.
Helen is married to Raymond, owner of Burton’s Tree Services.
