Andreas brings more than two decades of executive leadership experience in economic development, international business strategy, and public-private partnership development. Throughout his career, he has worked at the intersection of government, industry, and global investment, helping organizations drive growth and expand operations.
Prior to joining the Amarillo Economic Development Corporation as President and CEO, Andreas led the U.S. operations of a European economic development organization, advancing foreign direct investment, corporate expansion, and strategic transatlantic partnerships across North America and Europe.
Earlier in his career, Andreas held senior leadership roles at Hannover Re, overseeing strategic investment initiatives, innovation programs, and international expansion efforts, while advising executive leadership on investment strategy and site selection.
Andreas holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Göttingen and is passionate about fostering business growth, regional competitiveness, and collaborative partnerships. He and his wife, Kerstin, have one son.
